| 4-23-09 Cedar Point is auctioning seats for Magnum on opening day. Magnum turns 20, and the auction will benefit the local Red Cross. For more information, click here. Also, new for this year at Cedar Point is a new interactive water fountain and new entrance signs on the causeway and by the turnstiles. Should look lovely! |

3-10-09 Dolphins at SeaWorld Orlando have learned to blow beautiful, nearly perfect underwater circles of air. And, experts think they do it just for fun. Several months ago, SeaWorld curators noticed a dolphin at the park’s Dolphin Cove had learned to expel air from its blowhole and with a flick of its head, a circle of air –- a silvery bubble ring -- would be created. Curators then saw the dolphin using its rostrum (the “bottlenose” part of a bottlenose dolphin) to twist, spin and re-shape the ring, sometimes biting a bigger ring to make a smaller one.

| 3-9-09 Cedar Fair is looking to sell three of its parks in order to reduce it's debt. CF wants to sell California's Great America to NFL's San Francisco 49ers for additional parking space for their new proposed stadium. CF is shopping around Valleyfair and World's of Fun. The chances of it happening are slim, though, with the current economy. |

| 3-9-09 Do not be surprised if you start hearing rumors about possible sales of the Busch Gardens parks. The company is looking to sell assets that aren't crucial to the business, and the parks may be included. |
| 3-9-09 Knoebels Amusement Park has announced there will be three new rides for 2009, along with the opening of Flying Turns! It'll cost you $2.50 to ride Flying Turns, so it soundsreally good that the ride finally runs. |
| 2-25-09 Conneaut Lake Park has announced that the park will be opened in 2009 after a year of downfalls! The park is coming together to get the rides operating, concerts, and everything else ready. They do say do not expect Blue Streak to be running in 2009, however. |
